Burana Tower
In 11 century on the Great Silk Road used to stay thriving city called Balasagun. And Burana Tower was built in the center of the city as a watching tower and as a sign for travelers and traders. At those ancient times thousands of traders were coming to that hospitable city to exchange their good and spend a night. Today Tower is 24 meters high now because part of it fell down after the earthquake in 15 century but before it was 45 meters high. But after the earthquake people have never come back because they believed that God did not want them to live in the city and damned them. Archeologist found many artifacts there and some of them you can find in a local museum. The rest of artifacts were taken to Russian museums in Soviet period. The houses in the city were built of clay and they melt because of time. Now you can see only the tower and a hill nearby that is supposed to be khan's castle.

Ala Archa gorge
Ala Archa gorge is very beautiful place that attracts many locals and foreigners for weekend tours. It is situated not far from Bishkek (45 km), and after one hour drive you will get there and rise from 750 to 2100 meters above sea level. The name Ala-Archa translates Bright Juniper and the gorge was named like this because of juniper forests that grow wildly everywhere there. For Kyrgyz juniper is a holy and very important tree. They use its wood almost in all sacred rituals. After child's birth it has a cradle made of juniper; when person is sick people burn branches of juniper close to his bed reading special words; when the child is grown up and decides to merry - a respectful woman with burning juniper enters his new yurt to defense it from an evil spirits. And after death the coffin of the man will be also made of this sacred tree.

Horse riding tour
We are glad to invite you to the fascinating horse tour in Chon Kemin. Program includes about 3 hours of horse riding among marvelous landscapes and traditional lunch in very hospitable Kyrgyz family. After two hours of driving you will get to the gorge and start the ride. Horses still play an important role in life of Kyrgyz nomads. They have a saying - "Horses are man's wings". It was impossible for nomad to survive in the mountains without a horse. So today you have an opportunity to ride it in Chon Kemin gorge at the bottom of Tien Shan Mountains.

Issyk Ata gorge
Issyk Ata is one of the most famous and popular gorges with hot springs in Chu Valley. It will take about two hours to get to this marvelous gorge. There you will have a light hike to a small and picturesque mountain waterfall. Then you will have a picnic at the nice dry glade. If you would like you can go to an open swimming pool to swim in mineral water from the hot springs. You will swim there in warm water and enjoy the stunning view of mountains around!
